1. What do you consider your self as.... (Gryffindor)
2. WHat is your best quality: Patience A. YOur worst quality: I talk to myself out loud when I am either writing a story or when I really really like a certain part of a story
3. Do you like showing oof or staying quiet or standing by a friend: Staying quiet in the sidelines
4. Who is your favorite Harry Potter charater: Gred or Feorge
5. If you could write about any subject (besides harry Potter) what woud it be? Transformers Cybertron, Transformers Armada, Transformers Beast Wars, Lord of the Rings
6. If you could have a familiar what animal would it be? Fox, or horse,
7. Is power that important to you? Explain why. Nope, power is pointless if you don't have someone to share it with. Also power has a way of corrupting even the best of people and I do not wish to be corrupted
8. Is evil really evil in your eyes? no, evil is just a word that seperates people. There is no such thing as evil or good because the world is not black and white. Everyone has good and evil qualities 9. PIck out the best and worst qualitys in each house, then explain. Gryffindor: Always ready to back up a friend who needs it. They are also reckless and often get hurt for that. Hufflepuff: Are loyal to all, that will be their downfall one day. Actually their loyalty is their best and worst quality. Ravenclaw: They are really smart but would rather believe a book than their own eyes. Slytherin: They always wait for the right opportunity to strike but because of that everyone thinks they are evil
10: Whats your favortie class in the Harry Potter world? DADA and Transfiguration

1. Gryffindor (Or at least as far as INtelligence Ravenclaw but I hate it and studying, although if I was as I am now and 11 and I found out I was a muggleborn I would study my butt off in magic because well...its freaking magic and its cool but math and stuff no)
2. I'm a nerd so I'm good at knowing the good stuff an being blunt about it. I am also prude and emotionless when I have to be.
2A. And am a hot head sometimes.
3. Staying Quiet but I don't let people be morons. If someone like Draco was around me I would probably tell him to shut the crap up anf bop him one ofver the head for descracing his classmates.
4. Harry
5. Stargate
6. Pheonix or Griffen.
7. Power alone no. You don't need to be overwhelmingly powerful. Knowledge is more useful and alot better then outright power (unless you are going against someone like god who just thinks and it is done lol) but against someone like Voldie well he is strong but can be outwited, So if by knowledge is power (By earning it with long study and not using it for evil) yes but outright power no.
8. There are shades of grey. Mercy killing for one. Trying to save everyone by killing a few maybe but only if they deserve it, case in point killing vodie and co for the greater good.
9. Ravenclaws focus to much on the study aspect they don't really focus on fitness or learning defence as well as just the spells. On that note if they were to focus along with the spells the above mentioned they would be some of the more powerful people in Hogwarts. Gryffindors focus of being brash, to outlandish almostif they studied a bit more like the ravenclaws they would do a whole lot better. On that note they are also good for fighting for that very reason, they don't give up.
Sytherins are kind of a middle ground. I would say they are good at everything (barring most of them being pricks) they are almost the jack of all trades however. KNowledge of trades but masters of none. They need to do more of all what they are doing now before they can consider themselves any force to be worried about, they are good at intel though. Hufflepuffs I don't get to much of a vibe for they mostly seem to be focused on the non hurting forms of magic herbology and healing most likely. I don't know enough about them to really critique.
10. DADA and DA if they had it.

1. Gryffindor
2. loyaly A. bad temper
3. standing by a friend
4. Sirius Black
5. four brothers
6. wolf or phoenix
7. No because you have love, friends that are there when you need them, logic and Knowledge which all mean more than power does.
8. No because evil and good is what separte people.
9. Gryffindors are all about courage, never giving up and being brave Ravenclaws are all about studing, having knowledge. Want to be the best at everything Huufflepuffs are all about healing and having a bit of everything yet not as brave as the Gryffindor. Not much of fighters Slytherins are all about the evil and power they want to have with the people and don't care about hurtin others as long as they get what they want.

1. What do you consider your self as.... a slytherinish ravenclaw
2. What is your best quality. - I'm unorganized in an organized way
A. Your worst quality. - I'm too judgmental
3. Do you like showing off or staying quiet or standing by a friend. - normally I'd stand by a friend but lately they're all turning out to be backstabbing witches (no pun intended)... so staying quiet.
4. Who is your favorite Harry Potter character. - Sirius Black/Albus Dumbledore... but if they had to be alive then I'd choose Tonks and Harry [[not as a couple just as people]]
5. If you could write about any subject (besides harry Potter) what would it be? - like fan fiction?? uhmm probably charmed [[the show]], lol.
6. If you could have a familiar what animal would it be? - panther or a cheetah.. something sleek and can blend in with things.
7. Is power that important to you? Explain why. - power isn't what i base my decisions on, but it certainly is important to me. i believe it's necessary. it's like when you bake a cake, you need the eggs to make the cake. in this case, power is the eggs in the cake of life. (okay that sounded really funny.)
8. Is evil really evil in your eyes? - well sort of. I mean, when you think about it, the "evil" people don't really think their actions are evil... they think they're doing the right thing. they think "good" people are "evil" because their opinions differ from the other groups. so really, it's all about the way you look at it. but i think it's much more complicated. life's not in painted black and white. millions of shades of gray... and too many colors to count. i think the world is too stereo-typed to actually say if "good" is good and "evil" is evil.
9. Pick out the best and worst quality's in each house, then explain. - okay, this'll be rather difficult because we've seen a load of gryffs and slyths, but not so much puffers or raves. so really to base the answer to this question on people we've "met" from the puffers and raves wouldn't really be fair, because we've only met like two people from those houses. and to base the answer on what the sorting hat says... i doubt that the only thing that gets you into a house is your wits, ambition, courage, or loyalty. like hufflepuff, the name alone sounds like it would be a house for a bunch of pansies.... but it isn't. was Cedric Diggory a pansy? no, he wasn't. also, the whole house concept seems rather.... unintelligent to me. this is like forming cliques, except on a larger scale... where there are cliques among cliques. If people are grouped together based on the things the sorting hat sorts them for, then how can we mature and grow into respectable, well-rounded adults? especially when, for example, slytherins mostly think that pure bloods are better and muggleborns shouldn't be at a school for magic - if they're grouped together and singled out [ahem, the whole, "hufflepuffs, ravenclaws, and gryffindors get towers (I'm pretty sure) but slytherins get dungeons?? helloooo?? it sounds to me as though Salazar Slytherin DID rebel.... because he was treated unfairly!] then the school isn't teaching them everything they need to know. yeah, okay, somewhat good teachers, but COME ON. that is not all that shapes a person. and after getting... sort of off topic I will, in conclusion, refuse to answer this question anymore because I don't think I could possibly do it to the best of my knowledge without stereotyping, as I haven't met Helga Hufflepuff, Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, and Rowena Ravenclaw.
10: Whats your favorite class in the Harry Potter world? - my favorite class in the harry potter world is potions. although Snape was a lousy teacher, i don't think it would be so horrible - and maybe -gasp- fun.
:]] well there's my sorting. :]] have fun reading all that? I'm sure you did. by the way, this is Hazel Maraa from ffn. :]] i had nothing better to do anyway, so i figured, "why not?". i won't be on every day (actually, i might be, but school starts in a few weeks soooo....).

I understand how you can say the house system is unintelligent. But it serves its purpose. Many of the things you spoke of should be taught by the parents. So while yes they are forming ill equiped groups of people together in a mish mash, imagine if it was one big house, People like Harry and Draco would see eachother alot more. Their very radically different ideals would clash instead of on a daily basis and an hourly one. They would sleep in the same room. I mean that just waiting for trouble. But yes I can understand how separating could make it worse if left alone. Which is has. As the heads of house do all of sitting on their butts. Instead of teaching them and guiding them the ways to deal with other people and to talk to someone before judging them.

Answer the following questions
1. What do you consider your self as.... Ravenclaw
2. WHat is your best quality I'm smart and read a lot. A. YOur worst quality I'm lazy and don't move (other than to read) often.
3. Do you like showing off, staying quiet or standing by a friend Like Remus, I'll show off around close friend, but I'll blend into the background when in public.
4. Who is your favorite Harry Potter charater Remus Lupin or Sirius Black
5. If you could write about any subject (besides harry Potter) what woud it be? Another book-- probably the Mediator series by Meg Cabot.
6. If you could have a familiar what animal would it be? Multi-colored werewolf... no, but definately a wolf or other member of the canis family. (large, black dog)... Or maybe a bird of some sort. They ARE useful.
7. Is power that important to you? Explain why. Based on the equation Knowledge = Power, I'd have to say power is very important. If it isn't true... I dunno. *shrug*
8. Is evil really evil in your eyes? Evil is a tad blurry in my eyes *puts glasses back on* Ah, yes. Let's just say... dark deeds require dark intent to be truly evil.
9. PIck out the best and worst qualitys in each house, then explain. Oooh... Slytherin: predjudice within the House, predjudice toward the House... But, cunning is an excellent trait. Gryffindor: A little to rash, but they are brave and all like them... wait, popular? that's bad. Too much attension. And, they are WAY to competative for all the wrong reasons. But, my high school has the same colors, and I'm quite fond of them. Ravenclaw (my usual House): very smart. but, they are recluses... wait, so am I... *hides in shell* Hufflepuff: It seems the general consensus that they're all idiots. That would get on my nerves. But, they work hard, I guess *cheery smile falters* I'm not...
10: Whats your favortie class in the Harry Potter world? Either defense (It's very important and ecclectic) or Study period (It gives me time to pursue my personal academic intrests, like *coughsnogcough* reading cheesy romance novels or pursuing non-ciricular topics)
Answer these questions and I will get right back to you about you house...

1. Gryffindor 2. loyalty A. can be random at times. 3. standing by a friend 4. Remus Lupin 5. old scottish, british and irish mythology 6. Definately an owl 7. No. I believe everyone should be equal. Equality would stop most fights because you would not be better than anyone. 8. Depends what sort of evil. They could be seen as evil because of past experiences, but at heart not-if that makes sense. 9. Best: Gryffindor-bravery:They will do anything to help a friend and set things right even if it risks their lives. Ravenclaw-logic-they are very logical and see the right way to go about things easily Hufflepuff-they are just and fair. This is important. Slytherin-ambitious-what they aim for they want to achieve. 10. Probably DADA, but i would also like ancient runes. Thanks, mischiefmanaged
